Do you accept insurance? +
No — PHX Weight Management operates as a direct-pay practice. This keeps costs transparent, eliminates billing delays, and lets us spend more time on your care rather than paperwork. Many patients find the monthly membership comparable to or less than their insurance out-of-pocket costs for similar services.
Am I a candidate for GLP-1 therapy? +
GLP-1 medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide are FDA-approved for weight management in adults with a BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition (diabetes, hypertension, etc.). Your initial consultation will include a full candidacy review. Certain contraindications apply — we'll go over your full history before prescribing.
What peptides do you offer? +
We offer a range of evidence-supported peptides including BPC-157 (gut and joint healing), TB-500 (tissue repair and inflammation), Sermorelin and CJC-1295/Ipamorelin (growth hormone secretagogues for body composition and recovery), and CU Copper peptide protocols. All are prescribed and monitored by Dr. Coracides.
How does TRT work at your practice? +
We begin with a comprehensive hormone panel including total and free testosterone, LH, FSH, estradiol, SHBG, PSA, and CBC. Based on your labs and symptoms, Dr. Coracides will build a customized TRT protocol (testosterone cypionate, enanthate, or cream). Follow-up labs are done at 6–8 weeks and every 6 months thereafter.
Is care in-person or telehealth? +
We offer a hybrid model — most consultations, follow-ups, and medication management are done via telehealth for your convenience. In-person visits in the Phoenix area are available when clinically appropriate. Injections can be self-administered at home with our training materials.
How quickly can I get started? +
Most patients complete registration and have their initial consultation within 3–5 business days of booking. Medication can typically be prescribed and shipped within 1–2 weeks depending on the protocol and lab work required.
Can I cancel my membership? +
Yes — memberships are month-to-month with 30 days written notice required for cancellation. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. We believe in earning your continued membership through results.
Are medications included in my membership? +
Membership fees cover your provider relationship, consultations, and care coordination. Medications are billed separately at cost through our compounding pharmacy partners. We work to keep medication costs competitive and transparent — your provider will review costs with you before prescribing.
